Computer Suite

We have 30 desktop computers/laptops in our computer suite along with headphones, 30 microbits (pocket sized computers) and an interactive whiteboard. Each class from P1-P7 is timetabled for a session a week in the computer suite for their I.C.T. lesson. 

We run two main I.C.T. leadership opportunities for pupils in school and both are awarded to pupils based on an application form, interviews and presentations. Our Digital leaders programme has pupils take the lead on charging devices, moving them from classroom to classroom, helping younger pupils use the devices, downloading apps and software, managing the computer suite and leading assemblies on 'Internet Safety'. This year, we have also recruited Dream Space Ambassadors who attend training workshops from Microsoft, run coding clubs and have also led CPD with Staff on how to use microbits.
