Carrickfergus Model Primary School

Welcome

 From the Principal,

You are most welcome to our school website through which we hope to present an image of the extensive range of provision within our school.

The school has been providing education for the families of the town and surrounding districts since 1860.  Its history is definitely one of a school which has always driven towards high standards.  Today there is an ethos of pastoral care, encouragement, endeavour and achievement using the latest resources and technology to maintain those same high standards.  Positivity abounds and the pupils work within a reward driven environment.

The teaching staff comprises a strong blend of experience and professional expertise with well planned learning opportunities on offer through curricular and extra-curricular provision. Transfer arrangements are robustly maintained and results have been consistently high over the years.

It is the motto of every teacher in Carrick Model to inspire excellence in every child through example, endeavour and encouragement.  Should you choose to entrust us with the privilege of educating your child you can be guaranteed our best efforts on every front.

The best way to experience our strong family ethos is to visit the school itself. Each November we have an open afternoon to showcase the best of what Carrick Model has to offer. However, if you wish to meet with me personally you can do this by contacting the school office.

I am extremely proud of our children and our staff and we look forward to welcoming you in to our school family.
